ASOS Green Room

The Green Room is online fashion house ASOS' platform dedicated to ethical and eco-conscious labels. Here you can also shop Asos Africa, the company's ethical label. Asos Africa garments are produced in collaboration with a rural Kenyan community, allowing under-privileged communities to establish a living and sustainable business.

Bibico

Bibico's clothes are produced in fair trade cooperatives. They are known for their simple, effortless style.

Frank & Faith

Frank & Faith is a UK based ethical and sustainable fashion label. They have a beautiful selection of clothes and free UK delivery and returns. Yay!

Johari

A great ethical fashion label, Johari, which means 'something precious' in Swahili are particularly strong on dresses and gorgeous jewellery. Every item is handmade in Kenya and 100% of the profit is reinvested in their community projects which empower vulnerable young adults to build a living for themselves and their families. 
A ethical and sustainable fashion label selling fashion-forward clothes. Not strictly fair trade, their clothes are ethically produced and often made from sustainable fabrics such as organic cotton and bamboo.

Lowie

The brand Lowie stands for beautiful hand embroidered, knitted, stitched or crochet garments. They have a wide range of beautiful accessories such as socks, hats, scarfs and gloves.

Monkee Genes

are organic jeans made by people who care. Get some of their fashionable jeans and rest assured that no slave or sweatshop labour was used in their production. Monkee Genes also have free world-wide delivery as well as some great sales!

Lovely ethical and organic women's fashion combining beautiful colours and classic design. Good to know: they sell leggings!

Peopletree

Possibly one of the biggest fair trade fashion houses in the world, peopletree sell fashionable and ethically made garments & accessories. They also have a foundation that lobbies for a fair trade fashion industry and supports worker's rights. Names such as Orla Kiely, Vivienne Westwood or Emma Watson have all designed for Peopletree.

Do the Green Thing

Quirky site that gives advice on leading a greener life. They are behind initiatives such as Glove Love and Saved T-shirts. Sign up to them and pledge to live a greener life... or just read the tips and decide which ones you want to follow.

Ethical in Style:

VERY helpful site on where to find ethical fashion. Includes a directory, advice and shop.

Ethical Consumer:

Magazine and website for the shopper with a conscience. Ethical Consumer rates shops and brands on how ethical they are, gives advice and informs who to boycott.

The Fairtrade Foundation:

Independent non-profit organisation that licenses use of the Fairtrade mark on products. They are huge and everywhere! Find the one in your country.

Frock Around the Clock

Decadence Vintage Fairs organise the fabulous Froch Around the Clock vintage fairs. Happening in beautiful venues all over Northern Ireland, they are a great day out. Their wedding fairs are particularly worth a visit.

The Fashion Souk

The Fashion Souk is one of Belfast's most stylish vintage and second-hand fashion markets. The atmosphere is always great and the quality of clothes guaranteed. You will also find beautiful jewellery and accessories by local designers at this market.

The Loft Market

Situated on the top floor of the beautiful Powerscourt Towncentre, the Loft Market is the address for Irish Design. The little boutique offers everything from jewellery, to vintage clothes and modern fashion. Open seven days a week, the designers and artists themselves run the shop, each taking their turn.

Refound

Refound is a great Belfast initiative started and led by the lovely Jill. At Refound you will find the most unusual, unique and beautiful furniture all upcycled from old discarded pieces by local artists. Check out their shop on Wellington Place and be enchanted! It's open every Thursday - Sunday.
